Interesting
This movie at the beginning seemed to me a bit boring but since i had nothing else to do i decided to give it a try,it all starts pretty normal and slow,we see a normal couple n their everyday life, suddenly the husband has to go away on a business trip. The wife stays alone in the middle of nowhere and strange things start to happen, there is a creepy guy wearing a creepy mask outside the house.I don't really want to make a spoiler but the wife isn't as innocent as she appears since she had a relationship with one of her students. As i said before i don't want to give away the movie but the end made sense, pretty brutal sense but that was the conclusion,at some point i thought i was watching the movie 'the strangers' but fortunately i wasn't so furthermore i do recommend this movie
A stunning movie, a great plot
A stunning end for a great and well thought invasion movie plot. You don't imagine the reason why the starring is haunted by the unknown presence(s) until the very last minutes. I can't imagine how exciting this movie could have appeared if it had more budget available for production (special effects, post production handling). Despite this inconvenient, the plot overcomes this limit and gives an example about the way the psychological insights of the characters should be written and digs into the deepest fears of being violated in what we consider to be the safest place in our life : our home. Technically, the shooting is very good, the exposure (and games) of light and the editing is the best that the tools available to production could have offered.
Well done and worth watching
I liked it. It is extremely slow moving but that seems to add to the atmosphere. If you've ever spent any time out in the countryside alone you will be able to relate to this pacing – maybe that's what made it more enjoyable for me. It is creepy for sure and although not much happens for the first three quarters of the movie, it manages to be creepy from the beginning right through to the end. Just the repeated scenes of the view from the main windows are done in such a way that they create tension and angst – good call by the director/writers. The music works well. It's not a high budget movie but so what – it takes place in a house out in the middle of nowhere. I watched it twice because I was a bit confused about some of the plot. After the second viewing I came away thinking "okay, now this makes sense". I could still be wrong. I was hoping to find other reviews with some insight into the plot but so far there aren't any. It's a good movie. Worth watching. Interesting, intense and unique.
