  Slightly tedious joint from Full Moon and Tempe during their few years together. Ariauna Albright is back as Lilith and is very good as she was in Witchouse. The film, like many of Tempe's movies, is a little raw yet this works in contrast to the clearly scripted elements of the film in scenes such as press interviews where the speech could sound more natural. A lot of the locals seem to think Lilith LeFey is a "rock chick" from Lilith Fair (have they not heard of Sarah McLauchlan!?!). Lunar edition of the DVD has a fascinating (but overlong) tour of Castel Film Romania, the studios where many Full Moon films were produced and several other interesting features. Tempe clearly love their movies to the same extent that Charles Band at Full Moon has neglected or abused his. Shame that it might be though, Tempe's passion hinders Full Moon's creativity. Loud rock score by SFB and 7 Months distracts from the story, special effects by David Barton are pretty good. Lilith rocks...perhaps she is at Lilith Fair after all!

• Best of the Witchouse trilogy

  I enjoy all three of the Witchouse movies, but "Blood Coven" has to be my favorite for several reasons. For one, i thought the story was much more developed than the first film. Another reason, i was completely fooled by something in this movie...which is later revealed towards the end of the film. I won't reveal it, since it's such a great moment for first time viewers. There are scarce few films i can say truly fooled me in that way. The DVD "Lunar Edition" from Tempe/Full Moon is one of the best DVD's a low budget movie could ever hope for. There are more special features than most major movie DVD releases. I'm not saying Witchouse 2 is a perfect movie, it has it's faults as almost any low-budget film obviously does. But for a horror movie, it can hold it's own quite well.

• Even though Witchouse wasn't goo enough to warrant a sequel, one was made, and a good one at that

  The first Witchouse was an o.k. Friday/Saturday night watch, but was nothing really special or original. When I saw the box for Witchouse II: Blood Coven I thought "Oh geez, they're gonna milk it aren't they?" However, after watching it I ate my words. It's actually a decent sequel. !!!POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!A group of scientists set up there lab in a spooky old mansion where witches were murdered years before. The leader becomes possessed by Lilith and turns most of the others into her army of demons. Good story, effects, and o.k. acting. *** out of *****. I'm interested in seeing Witchouse 3: Demon Fire. Hopefully it will be even better than this one.

• Better than the typical "FULL MOON" effort.

  Better than the typical "FULL MOON" effort for that very reason. There was obviously effort put into this film. It doesn't all work by any means but it's an interesting yarn told pretty well. A good effort from J.R. Bookwalter who leads the game cast, including Andrew Prine, through the paces. Much like "THE GODFATHER", this just might be better than the original "WITCHOUSE"...

  I really enjoyed the first Witchouse movie, but this one has something that part 1 didn't: AN actual suspenseful scene, and its better acted. I reccommend that you watch both movies and you will not be dissappointed.
