Funny, absurd and delightful
A young man has a relationship with his friends imaginary sister, and do all the things an ordinary couple would. However, the couple soon faces problems, and after a major conflict a real girl catches the attention of the man. This naturally leads to trouble, but of an entirely different type than one would expect. It's a very nice little movie because the acting is totally convincing, and they story is fun, unusual and have several unexpected turns.
Sweet
This a funny little short film about a guy having a totally normal relationship with an imaginary girl. If you're into "The Mighty Boosh" you should be enjoying this early collaboration of Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt as it is in many ways a prequel to their subsequent work already including their quirky humour and fabulous interaction. Fielding and Barratt are basically already being Vince Noir and Howard Moon only they're not working at a Zoo or talking to apes, yet. And, as the little twist at the end reveals, they're having a slightly different relationship to each other here than in The Boosh. "Sweet" can be found among the extras of "The Mighty Boosh - Season 2" DVD, which is recommendable to anyone with a soft spot for weird British comedy.

first things first; Noel Fielding is amazing as Pete Sweet, he completely makes the film with his convincing acting and his infectious indie aura. Julian Barrat does a good job (although a small one) playing Petes best mate Stitch. you could say its a love story but its not an average one. id suggest EVERYONE buy the mighty boosh series 2 DVD because for one, if you aren't aware of the mighty boosh your deprived. and 2 - The HQ version of Sweet features in the Extras. there's plenty of nakedness mostly by Noels character Pete, but believe me.It's nothing you don't want to see.

Wow! Totally love this film (also not just for the nakedness, although I am liking that too!!!) but just because it is such an unusual plot line. It is very well acted, written and paced. The soundtrack is great and fits well. It's just ace! And everyone should own The Mighty Boosh anyway, so they should have this.... ACE!! Also, showed it to my mum and she loved it so much she fell off my sofa. Oh well, I guess I was brought up by a nutcase.
This is the best short film i have ever seen in my life!
Sweet is an amazingly funny film. It's the kind of film you wouldn't normally watch,but you would do anyway just for the laughs. It's got the most unpredictable twist,in fact,overall it's a very unpredictable film. I have watched it many a time(Not just for the nakedness of Noel)But,because it's got a great plot-line you could definitely relate to. But at the same time, in my opinion it is rather...lets' say,i wouldn't watch it in front of my parents! Noel Fielding is at one of his highs in this short film and Julian Barratt is crazy. He doesn't really say much,or do much for that matter,but at the end,if you watch,you'll realise why.
