When a deranged criminal is caught, he is then being transported by plane, along with some other criminals. Through a stroke of luck he is able to subdue the Federal agents assigned to bring him, free the other criminals, and take over the plane. He then threatens to crash the plane into a populated area unless his demands are met. The FBI agent who captured him then decides to get on the plane while in flight to do something. He does but things don't go as planned, and the criminal continues his plan to crash the plane unless the agent can do something, the military is going to shoot the plane down.

Poor "Airport 75"
Please, never fly with "Columbia Airlines", it is the second time, that they get a hole in the cockpit and a hero must climb through the hole in order to land the plane. A maniac murder is transported in this plane, sure he overthrow his guards and take over control of the plane. After a little shooting an explosion break a big hole in the cockpit. The First office isn´t able to land the plane, the pilot is dead. You already know the plot of a plane with a hole in a cockpit?? Already saw a man, coming inside the plane through this hole?? Already know "Columbia Airlines", already saw the plane??? Yes, the story was ( better ) told rather 30 years ago, "Airport 75". Differences? It was Karen Black as stewardess, who was not able to land the Boeing 747, here it is an attractive female first officer! Here it is a maniac murder, who cause the hole, in "Airport 75" it was an accident with another plane. In "Airport 75" the acting was quite good, here it is horrible. Also the outdoor scenes,when you see the airplane over snowy mountains... the jet, the helicopters. They are taken from the original "Airport 75" movie. At least, if you would like to see a good airplane action movie, take one of the old "Airport", "Passenger 57" for example, but not this cheap crap here.
Stay away
I rented this movie looking for a light, easy action flick. This movie was a TOTAL WASTE. This story has been done and repeated many times. Stick with 'Passenger 57' or some other major movie. Ice T is not what I would call a decent actor, but this was a total waste of his talent. This movie is totally predictable right from the start.
Total crap!
The name for this movie sounded pretty cool, so i was expecting to see a fairly decent movie. Oh was i wrong, i could have read the words "Sonic Impact" over and over again for 90 minutes and probably enjoy it more than the movie itself. This movie is among the worst movies i've seen in years. STAY AWAY.
Not bad for a rental. Predictable.
We fall into a trap of predictability with this one. Even if you haven't seen "Passenger 57" you just KNOW as soon as you see the prisoners being loaded on a 747 that they are going to break loose and raise all sorts of havoc. And you just KNOW the guy who caught the bad guy in the first place is going to be involved in catching him again. And you just KNOW some pretty female passenger is going to be involved. This time its Brittany Daniel, who I last saw as a temporary love-interest in Dawson's Creek. More than just a pretty face, we should see more of her. All said, I thought the movie was pretty well done. It kept up a good pace and the bad guy carries the movie the way he is supposed to. The hero is boring and looks and sounds alltogether too much like a Bruce Willis knockoff.
Very bad
this movie is so shocking, that after watching it i was so infuriated that i actually bothered to come online and sign up to this website to be able to let people know just how bad it is. The action scenes were so moronic a monkey could have directed this movie. How the plot unraveled left me thinking that this movie was created for monkeys. Do yourself a favor and don't watch it if it comes on TV. if you want to see something similar go watch Airforce One with Harrison Ford, that was a good movie from memory. What else do I have to write for this review to go through.
