Highly Entertaining
This is a b-budget film for sure, but it still succeeds in entertaining. The two slave girls from beyond infinity get stranded on a planet. They encounter a wealthy land-owner, and then the adventures begin. This movie has scantily-clad women, robotic sidekicks, a hammy villain, campy dialogue, cheesy sets, everything you need for the genre. The script and the editing work better than most b-budget films. The directing and acting fit the mood. Even the sets and the robots, cheap as they are, stand well compared to other films made at this economic level. It's not Shakespeare, but it's enjoyable.
Picky, Picky, Picky.....
It is difficult to understand how some criticize a movie because its title doesn't make sense (like most science fiction titles?), or because the acting was poor (look at the box and read the credits before buying). The title of "Slave Girls" should give you a hint that this is not to be taken seriously, but for what it was meant to be: a, hopefully, entertaining ninety minutes, or so, where you can enjoy beautiful women in and out of bikinis. Once again, if you are hoping for great cinema I suggest reading the box, or at least look at the picture before you rent this. With that said, is it entertaining? I found this to be an enjoyable variation on the classic short story, "The Most Dangerous Game." It has humor, doesn't take itself seriously, and is certainly easy on the eyes.....and brain. No thinking is required for this move. Just enjoy it for what it is.
A true camp classic!
As I have mentioned before I'm a huge fan of Brinke Stevens,so I decided to buy this movie. AND I LOVED IT!!! The robots were so funny! They looked like they were controlled by a remote control. Also, I liked how the girls(including brinke) ran around in their underwear being hunted most of the time. And the guy who played the bad guy was so laughable! Talk about a bad case of overacting! Anyways, I still loved this movie! It's the type of movie where you eat tons of pizza, and drink alot of beer!
Slave Girls A Great Fun Flick!
Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity is a must for all low budget movie fans. It blatantly exploits the 'Most Dangerous Game' script and embellishes on it by having cast Brinke Stevens and Elizabeth Cayton (otherwise known as Elizabeth Kaitan) in it. Two beautiful slaves escape a slave spaceship and crash land on a planet. On it they meet up with a crazy lunatic who likes to hunt people. Basically from then on in it's a hide and chase movie with plenty of laserblasts from phaser type weapons and tough fights with skimpy-clad women. One of my favorites.
A Really Moving Experience
This had been a favourite of mine ever since I first saw it about ten years ago. Apart from a (mercifully) brief interlude out two heroines are semi naked throughout the film. They display great fortitude and resource in battling the forces of evil and one is rooting for them throughout.They are also very beautiful, as is a third young lady. I regretted slightly that we were not shown more of the horrors inflicted on them in their original place of imprisonment, but we can't have everything. I liked the villain as well. A truly memorable performance. Whneevr I feel down and out of sorts, I cheer myself up by re watching this. A mention should also be made of the two robots.
