Velvet, a troubled prostitute, and Victor, a mentally unstable man, meet online in a chat room. Velvet becomes the only connection to the outside world for Victor, who lives his life as a reclusive vigilante. Victor's infatuation with Velvet causes him to seek her out in real life only to discover that she is knotted to an unlikely father figure, an Eastern European mobster, Vasily.
