Akshat aka Mr. Majnu (Akshat) and Suman (Neha Singh) are among a group of six college friends in Bombay. When Suman is refused by her to-be in law due to an inadequate dowry, a disheartened Suman makes up her mind to marry a millionaire. Akshat takes up the charge of fulfilling Suman's desire. He introduces her as Simmi to a rich businessman, Neil Raj Chopra. Now, while Neil falls in love with Suman, Suman and Akshat fall in love with each other.
