Ancient Curse Found In Attic Sends Handyman Doolally
Somewhere between a student film and a B-movie, 'It Lives Inside' is a no-budget, low-key stab at a horror movie, containing very little horror and covering very little new ground. As a real-life movie it doesn't really cut it (all those god-damned fades to black make it look like a workprint), but the lead actor holds up his end of the bargain, and as an obviously-first-attempt on no money, it's very nicely done, with obvious commitment and care from everyone involved.
Waste of time
Very slow actions, bad acting and weak story. This looks like home made movie
It lived for 36 minutes...
36 minutes is how far I got into the ordeal that passes as "It Lives Inside", before I had to give up out of sheer desperation. This movie was boring, horribly, horribly boring. Nothing of any worth or interest had happened during these 36 minutes and I just couldn't find the will to keep watching. I sat down to watch "It Lives Inside" given the fact that it as branded as a horror movie. Little did I know just what kind of horror I was in for... Absolutely nothing in the movie, aside from being bored senseless. The acting in the movie was adequate, taking into consideration the premise of the movie, its budget and production level, and such. Just don't get your hopes up on award winning performances to blow you away here. The storyline in "It Lives Inside" was non-existing. From what I managed to pick up during my ordeal of 36 minutes, it was about a family slowly coming apart, struggling with money and a mortgage, and apparently some kind of haunt or entity in the house. Well, as I said, nothing much happened during the long 36 minutes I endured, and I have no intention of ever returning to watch and finish the rest of the movie. I simply wasn't entertained in the least, nor did I care an inch about the characters or their predicaments. "It Lives Inside" feels like an up-scale amateur project, or a film student project. Not that either of those is bad; I had just expected a bit more from the movie, given the appeal of the movie's cover/poster. I can't in good conscious recommend this movie to anyone.
Will you please stop making movies
Stop ... Please 21 century young people in films. Don't make movies anymore. Don't waste your time because that's what this is. It's waste It's excrement. 1 Star rating. That is not poor. That is there is no budget no money was made. No one saw it If anyone did how. But this is a independent film I know. But those films in the multiplexes that have done everything they can so except make movies that have any arts and crafts. They have 3 D surround sound reclining chairs tickets are expensive for mostly crap. The food menu is like a mini restaurant that some deliever your food to your seat. People flood the theaters for 5.5 rating films. Bathroom are a mess. The floors are a mess. The recliner chairs are busted. No one wants to work there. This is a dead industry. It's all about male actors and film makers and Weinstein and people who come forward and say he or she or it touched me I want 10 million and then career ruined for the rest of their life. That's what this is now. It's this 1 star movie.
