This is why he wears a special pair of camera-glasses which, recording every single moment of his life, allow him to see everything correctly. His life actually becoming one of the movies he has been watching since he was a child. Until the day he meets the one and only woman he can see at naked eye.

A cult classic in the making
This Italian film is a rare treat that more people really should see. Federico Sfascia has created a wonderful fully-realized world that delicately blends many different genres successfully into a single film: comedy, romance, fantasy, and a splash of action and horror. While most of the concepts in the film aren't totally and uniquely original, the sum of the parts create an interesting, fun, and quite refreshing viewing experience. The fantastic soundtrack, along with the set design, really help to set the mood. The only thing hurting this film is that it's been ready for store shelves for years, but has been floating around in distribution limbo.
Old-style fantasy movie
A film that unfortunately you can only discover by chance: "I rec u". Italian film that has had very bad luck in the distribution but despite not being able to arrive in theaters is worth at least 4/5 of the Italian films that come out in the hall. The Rec U is an Italian independent film made with no budget b and using "classic" special effects like latex monsters and animatronic puppets. Also movie which faces a very original theme: love as "destructive force". Made by Federico Sfascia over three years, Iit does not have a well-defined genre: a little grotesque, a little fantasy, a little horror, a bit romantic, a bit dreamy and even an appearance by Terry Gilliam! I advise you not to miss it!
