Hysterical stand-up comedy! Non stop laughter!! A+++
This guy was a roller coaster full of laughs. He is so energetic with his delivery of jokes. Most of his jokes you can relate to. Erik has his own style but if I had to compare his style to a comedian, it would be Sam Kinison. Erik is fast, loud, funny and outrageous. Most comedians fail to keep your attention the whole time. This comic has no trouble doing that. With jokes about bad dates, bad jobs and bad relationships, sit back and get ready for laughter. You need to watch this movie a couple of times because you'll miss a few jokes just from laughing so hard. Be sure to watch the end credits for an added extra. I look forward to seeing more from this guy! A+++.
A Swing and a Miss
The first five minutes are original and funny. The next 55 minutes are an assortment of average to below average jokes. The performer boosts about being an unattractive drug addict who can't get laid. This premise is not only unoriginal but has been done by much better polished comedians. For example, Erik has a joke about a man with one tooth; it is identical to Dave Attell's joke about a man with one leg. Overall, a major failure but if this kid stays off the dope and gets serious about comedy I could see his next special being funny. On the brightside, the Dopeless romantic, Erik Myers, has only one direction he can go after this performance which is up....good luck!
