  A young man carelessly leaves his car on the road at night. While he is gone, a car swerves to miss it and crashes. A young woman improvises a mournful air on an upright piano while her mother, sister, and uncle silently drink tea. At a factory, things are going downhill. As in Greek tragedy, the truth emerges in each of the characters, with shattering consequences. The tragedy of the children, who were put up for adoption and left in the dark about their background.
