Egaro: The Immortal XI (2011) Reviews
The Intention of the Director Deserves Applause
This is an untold story on an incidence which might not have found its place in any chapters of the rich history of our freedom struggle but surely had an impact on stoking patriotism during the tumultuous years of national struggle. The intention of the director is what makes this movie a good and inspiring tale of determination and courage, if not great. The pace is commendable, the story is tight and gripping. The acting, however lacks the firepower such movies need. The cast is not impressive. So is the camera work.Certain moments could have been more livid sans the unnecessary import of humor.Use of music is the forte of this movie and raises many moments in its execution. Overall a very well intentioned movie on a topic less known.Kudos to the director for choosing such topic.A must watch for all the Mohun Bagan fans though.
