In a small society in our time, there occurs an event which influences many people, especially the one who caused it. Ektoras is one of the most well known businessmen of the city, father of two girls, Ellie and little Liza. Driving home from an evening out with his friend Tania, he hits a student called Philip. Ektoras panics, thinks of nothing but his daughters and chooses to leave the scene of the accident, believing that with this way he will avoid further trouble. He abandons Philip helpless in the middle of street. His actions may have given him temporary solution, but it was the beginning of a chain of reactions which will have great repercussions on him and others as time passes by.

Through the film Chain Reaction we want to show trends and to address many of the problems that exist in a society today. In the beginning of the film there occurs an event, Hector hits with his car a student Philip and bleeding abandons him in the middle of the road. This fact is the missing link in the Chain Reaction. But, as when a chain link is to be broken, it affects all other links, same as here; this affected all the characters of the film directly and indirectly throughout time, causing multiple Chain Reactions. After the event, we go back a short period of time before, showing several parallel stories of different characters and slowly the evolution of the movie, especially how after the Philips accident they meet and become one, and how all stories are linked together.

Alisidoti Exelixi is very good movie with very good actors in the cast .Two awards went also to the Cypriot participation Alysidoti Exelixi (Evolutions) film by George Voulgaris. It won the award for Best Production for VAG Movietec and the Audience award . The curtain closed for the 4th Cyprus International Film Festival which took place at the Pantheon Art Cinema in Nicosia between 30 October and 5 November and invited all movie-lovers into this great celebration of cinema. For a whole week, audience and film-makers in a common wonder of the fascinating landscape of the 7th art, transformed Pantheon Art Cinema into a discovery scene of modern cinematographic trends and a place of interaction. Films of recent production, were presented in the Festival to entertain, to raise concerns, to make us dream, to lead us into the journey of the magical world of cinema.
