Some six months after they first crossed verbal swords at a Washington D.C. dog show, schoolteacher Elizabeth Scott and businessman/philanthropist Donovan Darcy are blissfully in love and newly engaged. With Donovan in agreement, she looks forward to planning a small autumn wedding with the help of her mother and sister. After Donovan's previously scornful Aunt Violet (Frances Fisher) makes a heartfelt apology for her past behavior, Elizabeth is glad to include her in the planning process. As the weeks fly by and the arrangements for the wedding grow more elaborate, Elizabeth feels the burden of expectations she will face as Mrs. Darcy. Worse still, Donovan himself is wrapped up in his work and increasingly unavailable to her. Reminded yet again of their tremendous differences in background and temperament, Elizabeth can't help but ask herself: should she marry Mr. Darcy?

Marrying Mr. Darcy (2018) Reviews
Disappointed
I really enjoyed the first movie. However, this movies seemed like Elizabeth did nothing but complain, complain and complain and everything was about her. A wedding should be both people providing wedding details and Elizabeth did not want to hear from Darcy or anyone else. I rate this movie a 2 to compare a 9 for the first sequel.
Eh! No romance to be found.
I knew from the beginning that this was going to be a dud. There was no romance at all but drama and silly drama! I could barely get through it.
She's one difficult person
This sequel to Unleashing Mr Darcy has the same cute couple and dogs and the magnificent Frances Fisher. The story is mostly about planning a wedding. She comes across as being a bit of a difficult ungrateful brat. The things she was unhappy about were so inconsequential like more guests or flowers why can't she just give way about these things ? She ought to thank her lucky stars she married a man like that instead of annoyingly fussing about everything from the dress to the church. There are worse problems than those which come with marrying a prominent person. Her tantrum towards the end made me hope he would dump her. Things were slightly mitigated at the end with the compromise.
boring
I watched the prequel and this movie and was happy when they were over. Usually Hallmark does a good job but IMO there was ZERO chemistry between the leading actors. Would have been a great movie with other actors in the lead
A bit frustrating
I liked the movie but there were a few continuity issues that bothered me. For example: according to the first movie he was 21 when his parents died, not 19. I also had some issue with their choice of "issue for them to overcome". It made her look like a brat. Of course he's going to have to work hard before leaving his company for a honeymoon, no matter how long it was going to be. He's the head of a company, that's the way it is. I've actually seen it twice now but talked at the characters throughout the movie both times. I did like how it ended though.
